Today was a beautiful day inside and out. The sun was shinning and so was my soul. This pose, King Pigeon, is one that’s fairly easy and you can feel the stretch with every move. Make sure that you are holding each pose for at least 15 to 30 seconds in order to get the full potential of the each stretch. We are 18 days into this challenge and the stretch and flexibility is real. Don’t get discouraged if you are not able to do all the poses perfectly because you’re not alone. I mean not to state the obvious but I am in a boot and can barely walk but we can all make strides to become better and more flexible. Now i have gotten many questions about the core. The core are the muscles around your trunk, back and pelvis. These are very important muscles and they are what allows you to move past your “I don’t think I can do this” point. I love the king Pigeon pose because it is an complete stretch when doing it properly. Enjoy.
