I guess I have hit the ceiling of being fed up. Fed up of what you ask? Not having enough confidence in myself to believe that I can do anything I put my mind to. Not that just the half way, with my toe in the water, kind of put my mind to it but execute. It’s like, I know I can do this, but I’m trying to find any little reason not to do something progressive if I get the chance. The crazy part is, I then turn around and sulk or get upset that I did jump at an opportunity to grow.
Now that I am quickly approaching 30, I am trying to change all of those habits in my life so that I can be the successful. I can see myself and vision clearly, now it’s time to act. I no longer do the things I did at 20 years old or even last year. I have no shame in my game, I’m learning to learn from everything & become a PRO instead of finding the failure in the smaller success.
It’s easy to say you will do something and flake. It’s much harder to tell someone else (or others) that you’re going to do something and have to come up with an excuse when you flake.
Guess What? The whole thing boils down to having some accountability. In order to build a disciplined habit of not having fears of messing up you have to actually do them. Maybe you have been wanting to try yoga but you haven’t taken the time to physically do it (although your there 100% in spirit).
Who cares if you mess up, at anything? The president can mess up on t.v. in front of the world so why can’t you mess up at home, work, school or social setting? Don’t become a slave to your fears, kick fear in the face and try it anyways.
Well, I’m going to step out there with you on this one, remember, I have no shame in my game. I have been a member of periscope for months now and haven’t been able to push the red button. You know, the start broadcasting button? Nothing to a giant right? I will find out what’s so scary about that stupid button soon.
Today is the day I push the button and introduce myself to the periscope world. I have already posted that I’m doing this on Twitter so now I have accountability. If you don’t have a chance to catch this live, you can check out the replay on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
Make sure to stay tuned, I will be talking more about to you can apply learning from everything. I can’t wait to talk to you more about being shameless and learning from everything. Let’s continue this, tell me something you’re shameless about because it’s help you to succeed in the comments below.
