Day 1 #sistayogachallenge: Double Tree Pose

We have finally made it back around to another yoga challenge together and I am feeling amazing. I am finally getting over being sick so this challenge was right on time. I am glad I had some help with this challenge and had some great partners along the way. Once my kids saw my sister get all the way into the yoga action they wasted no time in wanting to show just how far they to could stretch, all the way down to my 4 year old son.

Today is day 1 of the #sistayogachallenge and our pose for today is the Double Tree Pose

  

Benefits of the Double Tree Pose are:

  • improves your balance
  • strengthens calves, ankles, thighs and spine
  • reduces flat feet
  • increases communication
  • opens your hips
