The days are going by so fast with this sista yoga challenge. We have made it to Day 13 and our pose for today is one you may recognize, Back-To-Back Chair Pose. Yes, it’s the infamous ‘the I can’t walk tomorrow’ chair pose!
Make sure that you and your sista/partner are taking your time with this pose. You both have to lock arms which can make moving up and down rather hard. My sister is more flexible than I am so us doing this at the same time was hard but we made it through.
Benefits of Back-To-Back Chair Pose:
- Toned legs muscles
- Stimulates heart & abdominal
- Stretches chest & shoulders
- Strengthens calves, hip flexors, back and ankles
Again, take your time even if you can go fast with this pose. The most simple pose can cause you a lifetime of hurt. Keep eating your balanced meals and drinking your water. Hydration is key when you are getting trying to get flexible. The more you drink, the further you are able bend alongside practice. Bless Up & Jah Guide My Beautiful People.
