Day 14 #sistayogachallenge- Open Heart Pose

After yesterday’s double chair pose, this was refreshing. If you felt anything like I did, then your butt and legs were screaming for help. Today’s pose is the Open Heart Pose and it’s a great stretch. 

  
Some benefits of the Open Heart Pose are:

  • Open shoulders
  • Tone the spine
  • Better breathing
  • Relieves back tensions
  • Helps w/ conscious breathing 

Today’s pose makes you have to pay each close attention to your sista/partner. You will get the chance to really help guide them. 

If you are working on your flexibility like I am then the Open Heart pose did your good. When you finished I’m sure your body screamed “THANK YOU.”
