Tea Melee: Lemon Grass

There’s nothing I love more than waking up to a great hot cup of bush tea and motivational melee (per Virgin Island Slang, it’s gossip, or ‘the juice’). When I first started drinking bush tea it was because my mother-in-law told me that it was great for my body. You already know how it goes, when moms say drink it, you drink it and ask questions later.

One of my favorite kinds of Bush tea is Lemon Grass. There are all kind of tea’s out there and if you really want to learn more about tea in general, Teavana is a spot that I myself love to explore. They always have something new and fresh and they are very well-informed of its benefits and other information that you may have to otherwise search for.

Lemon Grass tea has a fresh, sweet taste without any bitter after taste. If you are looking for something to wake you up feeling refreshed then this is a great choice for you. Not only does it taste great but it is great for your body as well. That was kind of no-brainer right, lol? Low stress levels, better digestion, cleans liver, antioxidant, and helps to control cholesterol are only a few of the many benefits of lemon grass tea.

I love melee that is so helpful that is over laps in all areas of your life. You feel me right?  The great thing about out Tea Melee is that it’s not negative. As a tea lover I feel that I have the ability to bring tea to people who may have not otherwise tried tea, especially bush tea.

Do you have any Bush Teas that I can put on my Tea Melee list? Leave them in the comments so that I can add them to the list and give them a try. If you find a great iced lemon grass tea please share and use #bushtea. Bless Up & Jah Guide My Beautiful People.
