Hello My Beautiful People!
It’s time to get back into our personal growth now that we’ve wrapped up most of the busy holidays, enjoying wonderful family and friends. We have reached our usual readjustment point which can be anything but easy. Readjusting to your own needs can get messy, but it gives you what you need to keep going. Every year we all fall into the trying to ‘get our lives together’ lane so we can be productive; trying everything from New Year resolutions, and books to phone apps and online groups.
Making time for yourself has to be a priority and it’s time to put yourself first. Your wellness is one of the most important things in the world. It determines your quality of life and we all want to live the best life we can.
Resolutions are great and help a lot of people, but they can also become cumbersome with all of the things we want to focus on. A great way to downsize the lists and achieve the results is by making yourself accountable. You can become accountable by joining challenges, whether online or otherwise. It’s one thing to do a challenge, but it’s another to do it publicly where others can see your progress and failures. Everyone wants to show the wins, but I don’t know many who want to show their failures. Either way, you are giving yourself a chance to get out of your normal habits that no longer serve a greater purpose.
When it comes to wellness, there is no one size fits all kind of plan. If there were we’d all have amazing health. Let’s face it, we all have things we need to work on. Sometimes we just need a jump start in the right direction to surpass what we thought we knew. By simply creating healthy habits in every part of our lives it gets easier to handle.
This years 31 day Yoglax Wellness Challenge is about personal growth and your willingness to achieve it. There are some things that you will want to keep constant but this year is about changing the things that no longer serve purpose in your life. Without growth we remain stagnant, never riding ourselves of unbecoming habits. Growth is one of the last things viewed when judging and comparing ourselves to others. You can do anything but first you have to and will grow by doing things that are uncomfortable. This challenge includes Power yoga routines, Journaling, 54321(15 minute) Cardio, challenge/tasks, and rules of life to live by. Each of these pieces are geared to help in different areas that need to be adjusted regularly- your mind, body and soul.
A fresh start each year gives you the chance to regroup and try to do some things differently. You may need to trash old ideas/ habits, conjointly, picking up some new ones. First you’ll need to decide to step outside of your comfort zone and do something different. I chose to do challenges each year; I’m very competitive, especially with myself, so challenges give me something to look forward to each day. I feel like I can out do what I have previously done and what other way to prove it to myself than by doing a challenge. The longer the challenge the better for me.
