Lessons Of A Yoga Pose: Proceed Through Fear

Lesson: If the cap fits, let them wear it.

Fear is one of those emotions that can be a great thing or bad thing. It all depends on how you look at it and what you do with that. It can help and hinder every move you make in life. It can either propel you or pull/hold you back, but its all up to you and your outlook.

When you are making big or small changes in life, your outlook has to shift along with it. Fear should never make you ball up into the corner, it gives you an opportunity and you HAVE to take it! It’s your way of tapping into your greatness. Your way of finding out just how far you are willing to go to become the best you, that you have never seen. If you are afraid of yourself, fear will always win. Fear wont be able to propel you until you look for it knowing its your signal to grow and level up.

Fear is your stepping stool. Learn to use it as such. Know that fear only arises when you are ready for the next best thing. Only when your spirit is sure in itself and thats when you are given the choice of fight or flight. Fight is using the stepping stool you were given, and flight is curling back into you own little corner scared of becoming who you are meant to be. Proceed through the fear to the other side and step into your greatness!
